Help for the CalenDear family calendar app.
On first launch, add yourself as a family member, then add the rest of your family. To use CalenDear across everyone's devices, open Settings (the gear on the Family tab) and choose "Invite Family Members" — this lets each person's iCloud account open your shared family data on their own iPhone or iPad. There's also a built-in User Guide in Settings.
Tap the add button and type or speak naturally — for example "Soccer practice every Tuesday 4pm with Luca," "remind me to call the dentist," or "add milk and eggs to groceries." CalenDear sorts out the date, the people involved, and whether it's an event, a to-do, or a grocery item.
Assign chores to one person or several, set them to repeat daily, weekly, or monthly, and give each a star value. Completing a chore earns stars, which can be redeemed for rewards a parent sets up on the Rewards tab. Rewards and star values are managed by parents.
Items are automatically grouped into aisles. Under the ••• menu on the Groceries tab you can set up Store Layouts — a default order plus named stores, each with its own aisle arrangement. Tap Shop to enter Shopping Mode and pick which store's layout to follow.
CalenDear+ is an optional subscription that unlocks the weekly digest, chore-fairness check-ins, external calendar sync, and the AI grocery list. One subscription covers your whole Apple Family Sharing group. Manage or cancel anytime in Settings ▸ Apple ID ▸ Subscriptions on your device. If a purchase doesn't unlock right away, fully close and reopen the app.
